Riding for our stolen Sisters : MMIW Relay Ride Featured

MMIWTwo Canadian Indigenous Lady Riders participate in the #MMIW Medicine Wheel Relay Ride!

In the days leading up to the Women's Freedom Ride the two Canadian ladies who are riding Riding for MMIW on the outer circle of the Medicine Wheel Ride to heal our hearts and souls, communities and countries,Joan Jack and Charmaine Willier-Larsen have the distinct honour to be meeting with the DC Motobabes on June 2nd, they get a sightseeing tour by motorcycle around Washington DC.

Then on June 3rd they will have the honour of meeting with Chief Anne Richardson and some of the people of The Rappahannock Tribe . That night they are blessed to be staying on the tribal land of the The Upper Mattaponi Indian Tribe and meeting with the tribal council and community members.

On June 4th the ladies will be honoured with dinner and a drive through the tribal lands of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation, Inc.

One June 5th, the ladies will be honoured to stay at the campground in Cherokee NC and to spend time with members of the Eastern Band Cherokee Indian.

Elections permitting, on June 6th the ladies will be honoured to be meeting with members of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.

On June 10th the ladies will be meeting with members of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas and when they are in Tahlequah OK on June 12th, they will be meeting with members of the Cherokee Nation History and Preservation (Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma). If things go well they will also get a short tour ot eh most prestigious Indigenous College in the world, Bacone College.

On June 13th, ladies will be leaving from Tulsa OK to ride these 2 Canadian ladies into the Women's Freedom Ride and Rally in Topeka Kansas.

These ladies are honoured to be ambassadors for this cause and to be Riding for MMIW.

They are thankful to have so many Indigenous Tribal Leaders and community members agreeing to meet with them and discuss #MMIW
