May 31, 2014 was a cool wet day but that didn't stop the 25 or so bikes that participated in the kickoff of the season with the Freinds of the Kanuckleheads Desert Heat Poker Run (Yes that's the way they spell it!).
The riders started in Medicine Hat, AB at the Garage Pub and made their way to Manyberries, AB, Foremost, AB  then over to Taber, AB ending at the Hylton in Redcliff, AB for a total of approximately 375 KMs.

The end of the month is going to come with mixed emotions for Shawn Crooks and Derek Brown.

Crooks and Brown have been long-time members of the Pictou County Cruisers motorcycle club, and after their final Awareness Ride on May 25, the club will be disbanding.

Can you please make them fit?” I hear this question so frequently- most folks recognize that a shop with the word ‘Optical’ means service with respects to eyewear. My response to that statement that I hear more and more often is, “Well have you returned to the dispensary you bought them from for them to address the issues you’re having?”. All too often, the reply is no, they bought them online so there’s nowhere to go, and the instructions for making them fit don’t work.
