40th Annual Vancouver Motorcycle Toy Run is October 6th,2019 Featured

B C C O M The 40th Annual Vancouver Motorcycle Toy Run will take place on October 6, 2019. 

The toy run will leave Coquitlam Centre at 9.30 am and proceed to the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) grounds in full parade style.

This event raises much needed toys and funds to provide underprivileged families assistance at Christmas time. It is one of the most important toy raising events in the Lower Mainland and it directly supports 16 local Christmas Bureaus. Please come out and show your support. It is a really fun opportunity to give back to your community!

The entry fee is a new child's toy wrapped in plastic or a monetary donation.

Limited commemorative pins are available.

The Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau kindly requests more sport and educational gifts. They also ask that there would be please be no stuffed toys, as they already have a very large supply. There is always a great need of items for teens and preteens some suggested items are music gift certificates, electronics=, blow dryers, curling irons, make up kits, and store gift certificates.

40th annual Vancouver Motorcycle Toy Run Update

The LMCB has applied to the Cities of Vancouver, Coquitlam, and Burnaby for this year's event, next up we meet with the Port Moody Police Department to review our Traffic Management Plan, then off to Port Moody Engineering for the permit process.

We have received grant funding from the City of Coquitlam, the application for Burnaby and Vancouver include a grant proposal, Universal Flagging is back on board to provide our Flagging and Traffic control services for both Coquitlam and Port Moody.

Coquitlam Centre is donating the use of their location as our start point, PNE is booked as our end point, only a few items left to confirm, like sponsors, pin design, shirts, volunteers and final permits from all the cities involved.

The Toy Run will leave Coquitlam Centre on Oct 7, 2108, at 9.30 am.
