The MS Society, Grand River Chapter, will be hosting the 7th Annual Freedom Ride to End MS this year at Bingemans in Kitchener, Ontario. Our organization is committed to being leaders in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis as well as providing programs, services and equipment to those living with the disease.
On August 27 the Red Deer H.O.G. Chapter will get on their bikes bright and early to take part in the Red Deer MS Society’s annual Johnson’s MS Bike Ride.
This is the third year that the Red Deer H.O.G Chapter is proud to be participating in this worthy cause.
The Reynolds-Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin, Alberta hosted their first Ride to the Reynolds and based on its success I am positive a second one will be planned for the future. According to the people manning the gates, 1000 motorcycles came through!
The CMDRA 2016 Badlands Nationals were held at Alberta’s MHDRA Drag Strip on August 20th and 21st. In addition to dealing with the soaring temperatures that greeted the racers arriving in Medicine Hat, teams were focused on the season points standings during this penultimate round of the 2016 CMDRA National Points series.
Tree To Me leads the pack in supporting the local art community providing a great venue for artists to promote and sell their work. Starting September 3rd, local artists Debbie Rombough and Dave Brewin, will share the spotlight as they showcase respectively different styles of art.
Brenden's Ride is not only about getting out with friends, family, co-workers and others who like to ride, it's about raising money to send kids with disabilities to Easter Seals Camps. Brenden's Ride started in 2014 when Brenden Parker, who had attended Easter Seals Camp Squamish for seven years, decided that he wanted to find a way to give back so that every child with a disability has the opportunity to attend Easter Seals Camp too!
With a great day forcast, Veterans from different groups all over Alberta with seventy bikes rolling in for this event, gathering at the Veterans MC Canada clubhouse, in Calgary, to honour CPL Michael Starker. CPL Starker was killed in action on 6 May, 2008 in an ambush while on patrol in the Pashmul Region of Afghanistan.
